Drawing and Art has always been something which I “just did”.

It came as no surprise to those who knew me that I declared an Art major, earned a BFA from the University of Tennessee, and began a career in Graphic Design. I believe that my Creator God left His creative mark on our world and my life. I express my creativity best when simply illustrating His Word.

I have had the privilege of working with young people for 30 years as a YouthPastor and currently as an educator and Fine Arts Director. I challenge my students to reflect and interpret their learning through the inspiration of Art Forms in our classes of History, Bible, and Graphic Design. I prefer the medium of Graphite Pencil. I value the process of building the image as I reflect on my own journey and God’s story in my world. My most recent journey is expressed in “The Hand of God” series.
